Welding Career Pathway

Greenville Tech Welding students are prepared for testing and certification for local metal fabrication shops, maintenance welding and construction pipe welding.

IN HIGH SCHOOL

With this Career Pathway, students will learn basic welding techniques and earn credit that can be applied to certificates at Greenville Technical College.

Eligible students:
Available to students in 11^th and 12^th grade

When:
Courses offered in the morning or afternoon,
Monday through Thursday

Where:
Courses available at Donaldson Career Center or Golden Strip Career Center

Result:
High School Graduation + credit toward GTC welding program

AFTER HIGH SCHOOL

After high school, students seamlessly transition into the Welding certificate program at Greenville Technical College.
