Early College Admissions Criteria

To take a course, students must meet either the minimum grade requirements or satisfy the placement requirements.

Grade of 80 or higher in the last two high school English courses.
ENG 102 Must have completed ENG 101 with a C or higher

Grade of 80 or higher in Algebra II.

Grade of 80 or higher in the last two high school math courses AND placement into ENG 101.
MAT 130 Must have completed MAT 109 or MAT 110 with a C or higher
MAT 111 Must have completed MAT 109 or MAT 110 with a C or higher
MAT 140 Must have completed MAT 111 with a C or higher
MAT 141 Must have completed MAT 140 with a C or higher
HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES Courses requiring placement into ENG 101 3.0 Must have:
Grade of 80 or higher in the last two high school English courses.
OTHER Courses requiring placement into ENG 100 and/or RDG 100 (Career Center and CTE courses) 2.0 Must have:
Grade of 70 or higher in English I 
Courses requiring placement into MAT 105 (Career Center and CTE courses) 2.0 Must have:
Grade of 70 or higher in Algebra I

*Placement into ENG 101 is also a requirement for all humanities courses. Completion of the actual course, ENG 101, is required before taking Speech and Communication courses.
