Earn College Credit while in High School
What is Early College?
Early College at Greenville Technical College (GTC) allows motivated students to take college courses while still in high school.
Students who are enrolled in high school and enrolled in one or more classes at GTC are participating in "dual enrollment" and may earn college credits along with their high school diploma. In some cases, the college credits students earn through a dual-enrollment experience can be used to satisfy high school graduation requirements as well, which is referred to as "dual credit." Not all dual-enrollment opportunities are dual credit.
Greenville Tech offers dual-enrollment courses in various high schools and career centers in partnership with Greenville County School District. In some cases, high school students take dual-enrollment courses online or on a GTC campus, alongside regular college students.

Dual Enrollment
It's been cool being able to experience the workforce while I was in high school, so then I could figure out what I was good at.

Its really great to have small class sizes because you just get more time with your professor and more one-on-one help.
